Hallo, ich bin David Bada, geboren am 24. September 1995 in München. Ich bin stolz auf meine Wurzeln, die bis nach Ghana und Togo zurückreichen. Seit 2022 bin ich glücklich verheiratet und Vater von zwei wunderbaren Kindern - eines ist sieben Jahre alt, das andere gerade fünf Monate alt.
Meine Football-Karriere begann in der German Football League (GFL), wo ich für die Munich Cowboys, Ingolstadt Dukes und Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns spielte. Damit war der Grundstein für meinen Weg in die NFL gelegt. Im Jahr 2020 wurde ich Teil des International Pathway Program, das internationalen Talenten die Chance bietet, sich in der NFL zu beweisen. Ich hatte das Glück, vier unglaubliche Jahre bei den Washington Commanders zu spielen, und seit einem Jahr bin ich nun bei den Detroit Lions.

My biggest fear is that it could all be over one day.
The idea of the unknown afterwards and the possibility of missing the sport as a player is scary. It`s a passion that has become a profession and despite the challenges, I love what I do.

I give my all so that my children and their children can be proud of what I have achieved. I want them to pursue their own dreams and have the ambition to achieve them.

My brother is my role model.
He built something up from nothing and started his own company. His hard work and positive attitude are an inspiration to me. He shows that you can achieve anything with passion and determination.

The name was given to me by a team colleague. It symbolizes the strength and determination with which I go to work every day.

Greatest moment: Joining the NFL
What was your greatest moment?
My greatest moment was joining the NFL and playing in my first preseason game.
Going from Germany to the USA and playing in a football stadium in front of so many people was an indescribable feeling. It was the highlight of my career and a moment I will never forget.

What advice would you give to young players?
It`s important to find out what you really want.
Do you want to have fun in football or pursue a career? It`s important to be aware of the challenges and to work hard. Every day can be your last, so it`s important to be mentally and physically prepared. Trust the process and be ready to give it your all.
