Hey everyone, there’s no greater feeling than being on the field with my teammates. When that referee whistle blows, nothing else matters—where you’re from, what you look like, what you believe, or who you love. At that moment, we’re a team, and we’re in it together, fighting for a win. This unity and shared goal drive me to give it my all, every time.
But sports come with challenges, and injuries are some of the hardest to face. A setback like this is a shock—the physical pain is only one part of it, but the waiting, the patience it demands, is truly challenging. The hardest part can be managing your own impatience, that overwhelming desire to get back on the field. Sometimes, you end up battling yourself even more than the injury. But I know that this fight is just as crucial as any other.
For me, giving up isn’t an option. I push to the very end, doing whatever it takes to get back on that field. It’s a lesson I want my kids to learn, too. They know: the Badas never give up! This comeback is more than just a return to the field—it’s a reminder that every setback is a chance to come back even stronger.
Thank you for supporting me through this journey. Together, we’re on this path to get back where we belong.
Yours,
David
